This 2005 57 re-issue is in great condition, yes it has been played and used hence a few marks and some buckle rash on the back but next to zero fret wear, makes me smile as if Gibson created the 'relic' effect the price tag would be 2k more!!! ;)

It oozes vintage character, has a black croc Gibson case with white lining and the COA.

Its a Nashville made Custom Shop model, and as always superbly set up here at WG.

This amazing rig was formally owned by Neville Marten ex editor of 'Guitarist' and now editor of Guitar Techniques.

Neviile has so many amps and guitars its, well its Neville... but this lovely amp and cab was just not being used anymore.

He had it completely refurbished by Cornford in black tolex ( he hated the oxblood ) fully serviced etc so its like new condition.

Also this amps serial number is 0001, yes its the 1st MK50H ever made!!!

The tone is AMAZING and a great collectable amp and cab although it just MUST be used!!!!

We think at £1499 this is a bargain!!!

	NEW condition with cover!!!

7 watt 1x10...Amazing, great for home and studio. Runs at 7, 3 and a quarter watt!!

The late great Gary Moore used one of these as his practice amp!!!

	Cornell say...

Most of today's guitarists are aware of some amplifier history, and "Plexi" must be one of the best known nicknames for a range of amplifiers produced by Marshall from about 1963 to 1969. We have refined this fundamental design to its ultimate, tailoring the components and adjusting the circuit to produce the definitive Plexi sound.

Back in the late 60s there were very few rock bands not using this type of amp, and still today this classic tone can be heard. The Cornell-Plexi amp has that instantly recognisable sound, and if you play rock, or simply want the Plexi tone, this range of amplifiers is an absolute necessity. Whether it is the 18/20 head or combo, or the 45/50 stack, these amplifiers are in the business of classic rock tones.

Only 5 months old in unplayed condition!!

Link to more info on Gibson website

	Gibson say -

The Gibson Les Paul Standard was an icon of the hard rock/heavy metal uprising of the late 1960s and 1970s, played by many of the legendary guitarists who emerged from this celebrated era of music. Now fast forward to 1986. With the hard rock scene on the verge of a new renaissance, an unknown rock band with a mysterious, mind-blowing guitar player was setting the L.A. club scene on fire. Guns N’ Roses and Slash — using his beloved Les Paul Standard — became the zenith of the new renaissance, breathing fresh life into the sounds of hard rock and heavy metal, and pushing the Les Paul Standard back into the limelight and into a new era of rebirth that it continues to enjoy today. The Slash Les Paul Signature model from Gibson Custom is an earnest tribute to Slash, and focuses on function as much as beauty. With Slash offering his valuable input, Gibson Custom has created one of its most distinct — and best sounding — Les Pauls ever, with all the features and characteristics that inspire Slash every time he picks it up. The Slash Les Paul Signature model features aged hardware, two Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II humbucker pickups and a Fishman Powerbridge pickup system that offers players an incredible selection of acoustic and hybrid acoustic/electric sounds with a special three-position mini-toggle switch inserted between the guitar’s two volume control knobs to help regulate it. Gibson Custom’s original Custom Authentic finish gives the Slash Les Paul Signature model the look of a gently aged vintage guitar. Other features include the Les Paul’s traditional carved maple top and mahogany back and a one-piece mahogany neck with a long neck tenon — just like the Les Pauls of the late 1950s. The Slash Les Paul Signature model comes in Slash’s favorite Dark Tobacco Burst finish, and each guitar comes with a Les Paul Reissue case and certificate of authenticity.

	Slash and Gibson Les Pauls
There is no mistaking Slash. Even the people who don’t know his music recognize the face of the man who has embodied everything rock and roll since the mid-1980s. From the minute Slash and Guns N’ Roses blasted out of the L.A. club scene to his work today with Velvet Revolver and beyond, Slash has created some of the most powerful and popular hard rock of all time, and he’s done it all with his trusted assembly of Gibson Les Paul Standards. Working closely with Slash, Gibson Custom has created the Slash Les Paul Signature model — specifically equipped which all of the individual features and unique characteristics that inspire Slash every time he picks up a Les Paul.

"Gibson felt that I had something to do with bringing the Les Paul back into the mainstream," Slash tells Gibson. "Les Pauls have been the premier guitar for me for as long as I can remember. I've gone through the whole trial and error experimentation period in my younger days trying to figure out which guitars to use. But I was always drawn to a Les Paul."

	The Magic Details
The magic and power of the Slash Les Paul Signature model from Gibson Custom is in the details. With the goal of making both a classic and versatile Les Paul, Slash and Gibson Custom have created one of the most resourceful — and beautiful — Les Pauls ever.

"It's exactly the way I like my guitars set up, with the thin neck, the Seymour Duncan Alnico II pickups, the old classic hardware, everything," Slash says.

The Slash Les Paul Signature Les Paul model focuses on function as much as beauty, but starts with one of the Les Paul’s most traditional features: a carved figured maple cap fitted onto a solid mahogany back. The standard one-piece mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with a long neck tenon similar to the Les Pauls of the late 1950s, which extends well into the body pickup cavity, resulting in more wood-to-wood contact and overall strengthening of the guitar. The neck profile is also modeled from the necks on Slash's original Les Pauls.

	Slash's Personal Choice of Pickups
The Slash Les Paul Signature model features two Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II humbucker pickups, which are the same exact pickups that power each one of Slash’s personal Les Pauls. They are open-coil humbuckers made to Slash’s specs, and powerfully deliver the deep crunch and singing leads he’s famous for. Fishman’s Powerbridge pickup system unleashes the natural acoustic potential of this Les Paul, offering players an incredible selection of acoustic and hybrid acoustic/electric sounds with a special three-position mini-toggle switch inserted between the guitar’s two volume control knobs to help regulate it. Rather than changing the natural tone of the Les Paul, the Powerbridge acts as an additional pickup that can be used on its own or blended with the Alnico II Pros to create an entirely new category of sound.

	Original Custom Authentic Finish
There's nothing like the look and feel of a vintage guitar, and Gibson Custom’s original Custom Authentic finish produces this highly desired quality with brilliant precision, giving the Slash Les Paul Signature model the distinct look of a gently aged vintage guitar. Furthering the guitar's vintage look is its aged hardware, and a special Dark Tobacco Burst finish similar to the finish on Slash’s favorite Les Paul. Other features include a custom "Slash" truss rod cover, figured acrylic trapezoid fingerboard inlays, crème-colored binding around the body and fingerboard and authentic vintage-style tulip tuners. Each guitar comes with a Les Paul Reissue case and certificate of authenticity.

Fantastic Koa Limited just arrived at WG. Amazing quality and our favourite acoustic brand!

Hawaiian Koa occupies rare air among tonewoods, and for good reason: Its tone is crisp and complex, its figure can be variegated and striking, and it is among the more difficult woods to procure. Though it’s normally reserved for the upper end of the Taylor line, our years of buying whole koa logs can sometimes yield sets of wood that have all the tonal character and charm of premium koa but aren’t quite as figured as the most prized sets reserved for the Koa Series. That’s where our 300 Series Koa Limiteds come in, offering a special treat and a great value.

RD Amps

R D Amplification is founded on over 25yrs experience building and repairing tube amplifiers. Rob Dix is a fully qualified Electronics Engineer as well as being an Electric Guitar player and has spent the past years building Custom tube amps for musicians around the UK.

The concept behind the DUALIST was to provide something just a little bit different whilst embracing the best of a great tradition of classic guitar amplification. The amplifier is built using traditional point-to-point construction techniques and boutique standard components. Each DUALIST is bespoke and custom ordered through World Guitars. It is then hand-crafted individually, one at a time by Rob at RDA, from chassis to cabinet, with a range of custom finishes available to order. The DUALIST is available as a head only or can be perfectly matched to our Custom Vintage 2x12 Speaker Cab.

The DUALIST is essentially a single channel amplifier but allows for more flexibility than a simple VTBM preamp circuit. ‘SINGLE’ mode employs a single twin-triode tube configured in a classic tone-stack utilising the Gain1(+ Fat), Treble, Middle and Bass controls.

‘DUAL’ mode, which is foot-switchable, pulls in a second twin-triode circuit controlled additionally by Gain2, Level (+Bright) and Filter controls.

Both SINGLE and DUAL modes utilise a sweet long-delay tube Reverb and a global Master control which is situated post the tube-buffered FX loop and driver tube stage.

The DUALIST employs a true Single-Ended Class A output stage using a single KT120 power tube, cathode biased with no negative feedback loop, providing around 15-20w of classic vintage tube tone. Using a single output tube like this, means the power tube is handling the full swing of your Guitars audio signal, perfectly balanced with none of the cross-over distortion sometimes found in push-pull output stages. This produces loads of harmonic texture and an easy transition into overdrive as you dig in to your guitar strings. In short… a dynamic, touch sensitive playing experience using just your guitars volume control and your fingers or pick.
If you’re not used to playing like this…. you soon will be… it’s addictive.

Inserting a foot-switch on the rear panel bypasses the Single/Dual switch located on the front panel.

The BRIGHT switch located on the LEVEL control actually bleeds over treble on the Gain2 pot much like a guitars volume control. It is most effective when Gain2 is set low. As you increase Gain2 it gradually becomes less active, finally being defeated completely with Gain2 fully clock-wise.

FILTER is an additional passive tone control when in DUAL mode.
Its operation is non-linear. Fully clock-wise it provides a fatter tone with more attack. As you sweep the FILTER control anti-clockwise it gradually removes some high-mid from the mix then towards fully anti-clockwise rolls off top end allowing for smoother overdrive tone. It’s subtle but very useful.

The DUALIST Electric Guitar Amplifier....... Enjoy!

Plug in with the optional Taylor electronics and take your performance to the stage with confidence.

Top: Solid Sitka Spruce. Back/Sides: Indian Rosewood Laminate.

Very rare 50th Anniversary 335 with a few marks but zero fretware. Very good condition overall.

	With certificate and original case.

	Gibson say-

History speaks for itself. The Gibson Custom ES-335 is one of the most important guitars of all time. Right from its introduction in 1958 as the world's first semi-hollowbody electric guitar it has been a mainstay of players eager to balance the gorgeous, round, mellow tones perfect for jazz and blues with the edge and sustain of a full-blooded solidbody. The Gibson Custom Shop has unveiled the most accurate re-creation of the 1959 ES-335 ever produced. This ES-335 VOS (Vintage Original Spec) edition retains its classic proportions: 16-1/2" wide, 20" long, and 1-3/4" deep. The neck is one-piece mahogany beneath a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid inlays and a single-ply binding. Additionally, the guitar has a single-ply binding on the top and back. All hardware is nickel, and there's a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge with a lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece. Neck scale is 24-3/4" with a 1-11/16" nut width. Satin finish models have vintage style tulip shaped tuners, while figured and plain tops come with Grover kidney-shaped tuners. All Custom Shop ES-335s have powerful '57 Classic humbucking pickups, two volume pots, two tone pots, and a three-way pickup selector switch. They are strung with Gibson Brite Wire .010 strings and come safely nestled in a black levant case. All Gibson Custom VOS guitars use a proprietary process for creating a beautiful nitrocellulose lacquer finish that includes unique steps for staining, wet-sanding, and hand-rubbing; imparting the look of a well cared-for 40-year-old instrument. The result is a remarkable patina that will delight even the most discriminating enthusiast.

Stunning Private Stock signature with Cocobolo back and sides and a Peruvian Mahagany neck. See certificate for full spec.

“It’s an ironic thing to say about such a beautiful instrument but it becomes invisible- leaving the player to concentrate solely on the music- which is what it should be all about. The Tony McManus signature model is based on the Angelus model but with the PRS wide fingerboard. The bridge and fingerboard are in ebony, and the Private Stock wood choices are pretty spectacular. The guitar is capable of going anywhere I’m capable of going musically. It works beautifully as a solo fingerstyle guitar but if I need to flatpick, it’ll go there too. It’ll accompany songs, tunes…whatever I need…tuned high and tuned low, gently caressed or driven hard,” said Tony McManus.

Phenomenal build quality and sound. Absolutely mind blowing in everyway!!

When Paul Reed Smith assumed leadership of the PRS Private Stock program in 2009, he remarked, “I’m looking forward to building guitars again.” The Collection Series from Private Stock provides him the opportunity to do just that. Much like the sought-after “Paul’s 28” guitars, these instruments will be built in small batches (about a dozen at a time) and will incorporate a balance of PRS traditions and exclusive “prototype stage” specifications. A very limited number - approximately 70 acoustics and 70 electrics - will be made in total each year and will be sold to our dealer network in pairs comprised of one acoustic and one electric guitar.

Collection instruments are built using the finest materials from Private Stock’s most select stash of exotic tone woods. Many of these woods, including prized Pernambuco used to make necks and fingerboards, will no longer be available for standard Private Stock orders. Proprietary specs, including Celtic knot inlays, will not be offered on forthcoming Private Stock guitars as well. Paul will personally oversee the design and construction of each Collection guitar.
