Lovely example of a Norlin era Custom in the less commonly seen colour of Tobacco Sunburst. In pretty good condition for a 48 year old guitar. No breaks or repairs and all appears correct other than the strap buttons. It has clearly been well cared for, for its age. Original untouched patent number T Buckers sound superb with real vintage flavour. The neck is slim but not as slim as some we have seen from this era and it plays well still retaining its low profile 'Fretless Wonder' frets. The hardware still has a fair bit of gold plating. The finish is in pretty good condition with some checking and a few patches of wear, just the expected play wear 48 years. Untouched electronics with all pots dating to the 8th week of '78. It comes in its original Gibson 'Chainsaw' case. Like most 70's customs, it is fairly substantial weight wise. A really nice piece of history and it sounds fabulous.
