Heritage Guitars Standard H-535 Trans Cherry #AI19716
Superb quality and great spec guitars from the original Kalamazoo Factory!
The semi-hollow H-535 features two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Humbuckers that provide authentic tones that harken back to the late 1950s. The solid center block and laminated figured maple construction help control any unwanted feedback issues. This timeless guitar is the perfect companion for everything from Rock, to Jazz, to Blues, and beyond. The H-535 is made to be worked hard and played hard and many players will find this to be the only guitar they need.
The construction of this guitar allows for an unparalleled versatility that provides a great platform for any genre of music, making it a true workhorse.
In the late 1800s, Orville Gibson arrived in Kalamazoo and began designing his own range of mandolins. Over time his company grew to become one of the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturers. Some of the world’s finest guitars were built at 225 Parsons Street from 1917 to 1984.
Some of the former senior employees wanted to continue the tradition of handcrafting beautiful, high quality electric guitars in Kalamazoo. In the spring of 1985, they bought space at the iconic factory, much of the original guitar-making equipment, and the rest is history.
Jim Deurloo, Marv Lamb, and JP Moats (the founders of Heritage) had a combined total of 84 years of guitar-building experience when the company began. In time, Bill Paige and Mike Korpak joined as co-owners. Today, Jim, Marv, and Bill are still active in the daily business and their wealth of knowledge continues to live through our next generation of luthiers.
We introduced our first Heritage guitar, the H-140 solid body single cutaway electric guitar, at the 1985 NAMM show in New Orleans. Over the years, we have built a small array of various instruments. We now focus exclusively on making the world’s greatest hollow, semi-hollow, and solid body electric guitars.

WORLD GUITARS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE GUITAR STORE!
We have been hand-selecting, photographing, setting up and selling high end guitars for over 30 years. In this time we have always understood just how important it is to get the setup right. The best guitar in the world can feel very average if it's not setup properly. We have always made this a priority on every single guitar that leaves World Guitars.
I live in the Middle East where there are no meaningful music stores, and certainly nothing like World Guitars. I also have GAS. I now own four guitars and an amplifier bought from World Guitars, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The responsiveness and customer-service is second to none, and they handle the shipping professionally – guitars come out the case intonated and in tune and ready to play! Spending money on premium guitars and amps from overseas takes trust – it is that simple, and World Guitars is my trusted supplier of high-end gear in the UK.
