2021 Fender Custom Shop Dale Wilson Masterbuilt 55 Stratocaster. Absolutely Stunning Ash bodied 55 Strat, super resonant, Dale has clearly picked some nice woods for this. He's well revered for his Relic work and this is no exception, the attention to detail is amazing. The body has loads of wear to the Thin Nitro finish that looks so authentic, you can see why Dale's work is so sought after! The back of the quarter sawn neck has that lovely worn smooth feeling you get on a well played vintage Strat, again a hard thing to get right. With a hand filling "Large C" neck profile, 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, it plays great. Super resonant with the Hand Wound 55 pickups giving a wonderful woody edge to the 50's style tones. It's been in a collection, barely been used and is in as new condition. This is a very special Strat, one of the very best sounding 50's Relics we have seen and heard. Dale is the most popular of the Masterbuilders, so much so that he has now closed his order book as lead times exceeded 4 years! If you were able to order this now, it would cost well north of 11k....
