2019 Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Stratocaster, Masterbuilt by Todd Krause. This is the first one finished in Almond Green and it was displayed on the Fender display stand at the Namm Show. It has been part of a collection and is in unplayed condition, basically like new. Supreme build quality and amazing playability. Photo of the spec sheet in the gallery. These don't come up often and only a handful were made in this lovely colour. Todd Krause is one of the most senior and revered of the Masterbuilders and is the one who builds the guitars for Clapton's studio sessions and tours.. It sounds excellent with the usual Clapton electronics, the Noiseless Single Coils and the TBX Tone-Control and active Mid delivers a wide range of different tones. Controlled individually by the 2 tone knobs, you can dial in as much of each as you need or just leave them off. It plays superbly with the Clapton V neck profile and the satin neck finish feels particularly good. A highly collectable Strat in super clean condition, in a very attractive, cool colour. With Original Tweed case, All Tags including the Cert and Namm display Card.
