2013 Gibson Custom Shop 50th Anniversary '63 ES-335 VOS in Faded Cherry. Sold by us new to a well known musician / journalist...A very nice example in very good used condition. It has a few small marks, a couple on the binding from a stand, but nothing serious at all (see photo gallery) Favored slimmer '60 neck profile and Burstbucker #1 & #2 Pickups. ABR no wire bridge with correct nylon saddles, Lightweight Aluminum Tail piece and Vintage style tulip tuners along with the other usual vintage correct appointments, Bumble Bee caps, CTS pots etc. This is a particularly sweet sounding example, the Burstbuckers always seem to work well in 335's and sound full and warm. Its a great weight too at 7lb 6oz. With Cert and original Case, which has a few knocks and scuffs.

This 1963 ES-335 Reissue is true to the original’s ’63 specs in almost every detail. Its one-piece, 24-¾ inch scale length mahogany neck features a long tenon, a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid small block inlays and a slim taper 60's neck profile. In addition to its period-correct look, the 1963 ES-335 Reissue recreates the legendary tone of the original model by utilizing a pair of Gibson’s renowned Burstbucker #1 and #2 humbucking pickups, which is the closest thing to original “PAF” pickups on the market today. High-quality CTS volume and tone potentiometers with “bumble bee” capacitors offer a fundamental electronics package, thus insuring the guitar’s unique tone is captured and delivered with the utmost accuracy and originality.
Other traditional appointments include vintage tulip tuners, a holly headstock veneer and all nickel hardware, including an ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminum stopbar tailpiece.
