2013 Nik Huber Orca 59 in Tobacco Sunburst with the expensive option of Dark Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard. Lovely Flame Maple top, one piece Mahogany body, Haussel '59 pickups with coil split on the tone knob and Curly Maple binding on the neck. Open pore finish on the back and neck that feels nice and smooth. Condition wise, this guitar has been used, there are plenty of small dings, mainly on the back and sides and a few on the top but nothing terrible. It could be considered a light relic and feels all the better for it! We have tried to show this in the photos. It sounds and plays great as you would expect. The neck is a nice handful simular to a 58/59 LP and feels smooth in your hand with the open pore finish. A good opportunity to pick up a high spec Orca 59 for a nice price that can be played with out having to be too precious about it. With Huber hard case and Certificate.

Nik says- A legend in and of itself, the Orca looks familiar to guitar players around the world by virtue of its shape. Paying tribute to the first solid body of this kind, the Orca brings a new twist to the traditional form. The Orca ´59 looks, plays, feels and sounds like one of those legendary instruments of the 50’s. But unlike most of it‘s predecessors, its magic and authenticity unfold from day one. Both body and soul have been revived by the experience and knowledge of our proud craftsmen, who‘ve raised the bar with respect to how a classic guitar should sound and look. You won’t have to wait fifty years for this one to become a legend!
The classic combination of tonewoods and traditional method of construction make this guitar spring to life out of the fascinating merger between vintage values and modern-day quality.
