Stratocaster Ltd 1963 Heavy Relic Lake Placid Blue #CZ555354
October 2021 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Stratocaster '63 Heavy Relic in Lake Placid Blue. A superb, well spec'd reissue of a early '63 Strat. 5/4 Quatersawn Maple Neck with 63 Strat 'C' neck profile, lovely AAA Dark Round Lam Rosewood board 9.5" radius and 6105 Frets. Loaded with 3 Handwound Fat 60's pickups with the middle one RWRP for no hum in positions 2 and 4. It sounds perfect to us, very full and vintage with great clarity and the note separation you tend to get from handwounds. The Heavy Relic finish looks really authentic and the back of the neck is very well done too with a beautiful smooth feel and tinted just right.... A seriously good sounding, great playing, cool looking guitar in a classic custom colour. In unused condition with Original Cream Tolex case and all Tags, Cert and strap etc.
