1974 Fender Telecaster Deluxe in Black. Nice example of a 70's Deluxe. Introduced in 1973 and equipped with great sounding CuNiFe Wide Range Humbuckers which were designed by Seth Lover, (creator of the PAF for Gibson). They have a full warm tone and have become very popular and well used over the years. Great weight at 7lb 13oz, which is not common for a 70's Tele!In pretty good condition considering it is now 50 years old. There are a few scratches and dings but nothing serious and the hardware shows some corrosion. It plays really well. and the neck pocket is perfect and a nice tight fit. It had a small micro switch (kill switch!) added by the controls but is now removed and plugged (see photos). Apart from some of the solder joints and a few wires, every thing is correct. The pots are original and dated 9th week of 1974 and the pickups date to '74. The neck is a medium C profile and feels great. Lightweight examples from the 70's don't come along often... With 70's Fender hard case.
