1975 Stratocaster Hardtail Sonic Blue #655199
1975 Hardtail Stratocaster refinished in Sonic Blue Nitro. This is not your average '75 Strat. Super light weight at 6lb 15oz which is not common in the 70's! The refinish was done professionally some time ago and is aging beautifully with some nice checking. It has been refretted with jumbo frets, again some time ago, they have a bit of wear but this does not affect the playability at all. The neck pocket is perfect and a nice tight fit. Apart from a 5-way switch, every thing else is correct. The pots all date to the 16th week of 1973 and the Grey Bottom pickups are ink stamped 1975. It plays superbly with a nice "loose' feel and and the neck is perfectly carved with a medium profile more like a mid to late 60's than 70's. It sounds amazing, again, much more like a late 60's Strat. Examples like this don't come along often, especially with 70's Strats! it is clearly a standout guitar. With Hiscox hard case.
