1963 Stratocaster in Fiesta Red. Lovely finish which is aging beautifully, we can't be certain if the finish is original or a very old refinish, experts opinions differ so we have priced it as a refin... Neck finish is original as it the decal. It has been refretted with medium jumbo frets some time ago. The pot codes are 137-6312 which date to the 12th week of 1963 and the neck date is March 63. It plays superbly with a nice feel and the neck is the favored '63 profile with round lam Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. It has had different tuners and an extra string at some point but the original single line Klusons are back on now. Wiring is correct with half moon 3-way switch and original pre-CBS black bottoms that sound really sweet and chimey. Further details or internal photos available on request. It sounds amazing, classic early 60's Strat. Examples like this don't come along often, it is clearly a standout guitar. With later Fender tweed hard case.
