2019 Lee Roy Parnell 1959 Les Paul Standard Abilene Sunset Burst. Monster Top 59 Reissue! This signature model has a few nice tweaks making for a real 'players' Les Paul. Nice big neck similar to the older 50's profile. 57 Classic Pickups, the new Vintage Tone Circuit with Paper in Oil Caps and all the latest spec so, all Hide Glue and True Historic Plastic and a Serious Hand Picked Flamed Maple Top. Of the few that came to the UK this was considered the best top... No Pickguard fitted from new, Gibson tend to do when the top is this good. It is in the case and can be fitted if needed. As part of a collection, it is in excellent condition, pretty much as new. An awesome sounding and playing LP with a Killer Top!

The construction elements remain the same, from the contoured cutaway edge to the revised pickup routes, which Lee Roy prefers in order to capture more character from the wood. Each features a hand-picked figured maple top accented by an "Abilene Sunset Fade" burst, inspired by Lee Roy's hometown in Texas. Under the hood, each guitar features a '57 Classic humbucker in the neck, a '57 Classic Plus in the bridge, and the all-new Vintage Tone Circuit which uses paper-in-oil capacitors and vintage taper potentiometers.
