Superb 2009 KL-33 Korina in Natural. From a Limited Run of 100 Pieces with Solid Korina Body and Neck, East Indian Rosewood Fingerboard, Pre-Factory (Sanatana) body shape, 24.5" scale length, Santana Neck Profile and Mira pickups with coil splits. Very cool Korina PRS in excellent condition apart from a little patch on the top edge where the lacquer has come away from a small ding, see photo in gallery  Original Case and Tags. Weight 7lb 7oz

If you’re the kind of guitarist who wants to be the only one around with a certain model, yet you don’t have access to limitless funds, then you might want to take a look at the new KL Series from PRS. Essentially, you can get your choice of a Standard 24 (which is a Custom 24, but without the flame maple top), a pre-factory body shape (which is what the company uses on its Santana models and, more recently, the Mira), or the newly reintroduced Custom 22 Soapbar, in a limited run of just 100 each, in genuine African limba wood, which you probably know better by its “brand name” here in the U.S., Korina!

Each model has a solid Korina body and neck finished in Vintage Natural, with genuine East Indian rosewood fingerboards. The KL 33 (the pre-factory body shape) has a 24-1/2″ scale length, with 24 frets, moon inlays, Mira humbucking pickups, and that silky-smooth PRS vibrato. The KL 380 (the newly reintroduced Custom 22) has 22 frets, with a 25″ scale, moon inlays, a regular D-profile neck, three black Soapbar (P-90 style) pickups, and the PRS vibrato. Finally, the KL 1812 has 24 frets, with a 25″ scale length, moon inlays, a regular neck profile, a stop tailpiece, and Mira pickups with push/pull tone control for splitting the coils. All three are stunning in an understated way. These models prove just how perfect the PRS bodies are designed, since there is no flame maple to grab your attention. Of particular interest to us is the KL 380, because it brings back the three-soapbar pickup configuration that the company produced for less than two years in its Custom line.
