1998 PRS McCarty Archtop II Dark in Cherry Sunburst with 4" Body. Rare to see, introduced in '98 along with the Hollowbody. The guitar features a carved maple top and back with mahogany sides and rosewood headstock veneer. The Archtop models are 2 3/4" depth at rim, 4" depth at the bridge, feature a 22-fret wide-fat mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, and McCarty Archtop pickups with 3-way toggle. This particular example includes gold hardware option. Nice resonant, good sounding and playing guitar. Condition wise, it has a couple of chips and dings and signs of use (see photos in gallery) The gold plating on the hardware has worn off in places too. Very cool early first year Archtop in a classic colour. Nice weight too, at 6lb 1oz. With original Hard Case (missing a catch) and Tag.
